Griffin Kiegiel is a second-year PhD candidate at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. He earned a MA in Philosophy from Wayne State University and a BA in Psychology and Philosophy from University of Michigan-Dearborn. His interests include philosophy of technology, environmental ethics, ecopsychology, and metaphysics. He is deeply concerned about humanity’s relation to the environment and sees the technological system as the primary cause of society’s disconnection from the natural world. He aims to one day become a professor of philosophy and promote anti-tech ideology in both academic and non-academic settings.
